Estron Lead Wire Service Kit

Designed to be a basic kit for service center labs and for hearing providers who prefer to work on their own repairs. Perfect for repairs and rework on BTEs and ITEs-CICs.

Included in the kit are 24 different types of ESW litz wire assembled in 100 piece packages and 6 different types of bulk wire, each 30 ft. long. The wires chosen for the kit are the most common sizes used for BTE, ITE, and CIC repairs. Wire colors are red, yellow, green, and blue.

Litz wires (stranded wires) are very flexible, but rather sensitive. Fatigue resistant. Prevents acoustic feed-back. Litz wires are often used for transducers, microphones, and battery springs.

ESW Litz wires: High performance - most popular. The standard wire in the industry. It has excellent characteristics in terms of flexibility, softness, and fatigue resistance and due to the exact tinning of 0.02” (0.5mm) in each end it is very easy to work with. 

XT-ESW litz wires: Highest performance – thinnest and strongest. They are stronger and more production safe wires. They stand significantly more wire bending before breakage. Ideal for applications where strength and space are a challenge. Increased tensile strength: up to 81% stronger than ESW. Bending test: 97% more flex life than ESW. Bending in solder joint: 115% better than ESW in durability.
